Modern day replica of the home shirt worn when France competed in the 2006 World Cup where they managed to make it through their group in second place behind Switzerland, but did manage to make it to the final where they took the game to penalties after the game finished 0-0 after extra time with Zinedine Zidane being sent off in extra time for a head-butt on Marco Materazzi. France lost the penalty shoot out 5-3 after Fabio Grosso scored the decisive penalty with David Trezeguet missing for France.
